Island hopping Part 2

ISLAND 3 – Neil Island

This is my favourite island of all, by far the best in my opinion. If you are looking for a quiet get away from all the hustle and bustle this is the place to be. Apparently, you could walk the whole island within 2hrs

Beach – Natural bridge / Howrah Bridge

I am not sure if I can classify this as a beach. Our driver took us to the spot as an ad-hoc from our regular itinerary. The natural bridge is accessible only during low tide and not an easy walk. The dead corals, sea cucumbers and crabs could be a bit eerie for the faint-hearted.

Bridge formed by corals

Plenty of rock pools with living corals and fishes.

After a long stroll, you always have time to snack on some fresh local fruits

Beach – Lakshmanpur beach

Beautifully situated at the tip of the Neil island where you literally see the ocean on all three sides. I managed to witness one of the best sunsets

Gigantic trees protecting the land

Honeymooners Of course 🙂
